I read a hobbit fanfiction I wrote to my English class.

We had a homework assignment to write a story in the style of a Shakespearean tragedy, and it could be pulled from a movie/book or modern example, so I wrote about Thorin and the Battle of the Five Armies, and ended up reading it to the class.

There were mixed reactions. There are a lot of jocks and people obsessed with only Twilight in my English class who are now sure I am insane (but seriously who needs them?), and people gasped when I rattled off the names of the thirteen dwarves.
